GlitchProfile respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using the Bot. Cotton operates GlitchProfile as a single-person project. By using the Bot, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Bot.

1. Information Accessed

The Bot only reads public Discord profile information of users in servers where it is present, such as username, avatar, banner, and ID, for the purpose of generating profile embeds. Cotton does not access any other information.

2. Data Storage

GlitchProfile does not store, cache, or retain any personal data. All profile information is accessed in real-time and discarded immediately after generating embeds.

3. Data Sharing

Cotton does not share, sell, or distribute any information accessed. All data comes solely from public Discord API endpoints or user-provided links.

4. Third-party Services

The Bot only uses Discord's API. Cotton does not integrate with other third-party services, and is not responsible for external websites where you embed your profile.

5. Security

While the Bot reads public information securely, you should always follow Discord’s security practices, such as not sharing your token or password.

6. Children's Privacy

The Bot does not knowingly access information from users under 13. If such data is inadvertently accessed, it is not stored.

7. Changes

Cotton may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of any changes.
